Kristine Fischer

Kristine is widely known for her adventurous trips! If you are looking for big pike, muskie Kristine is a master with the fly rod chasing these elusive monsters in Nebraska waters!

Even at a young age Kristine Fischer wasn’t one to adhere to societal norms. Growing up in a home unimpeded by the restraints of a television, she had a natural inclination towards the outdoors. Her adolescence was spent fishing the various ponds and creeks around her hometown and exploring the woods in her backyard. Fast forward many years later, little has changed. Kristine worked in the hunting and fishing department at a large retailer for 5 years, trying to work her way up the corporate ladder to be able to identify with the worlds view of success. However, she couldn’t ignore her innate, insatiable desire to want to live a different type of life, a life deemed unsustainable by conventional society. She quit her full time job, gave up her benefits and became self-employed so that she could be the manager of her own life.

Kristine started kayak fishing in 2015, and began competing in tournaments across the mid-west to both gratify her competitive nature and serve as a humbling ego check. She placed 3rd in her first tournament, and qualified for the Tournament of Champions at Lake Fork, TX her first year of tournament fishing. Besides fishing against some of the best anglers in the area, She enjoys the genuine camaraderie amongst those cut from the same cloth from her Jackson Cuda kayak. Being a part of the tight knitted community of kayak anglers has not only provided her the opportunity to volunteer in the area, become a guide with a reputable company and host youth fishing tournaments, but more importantly it has given her a voice to inspire others to pursue their passions and spend time outdoors.

Kristine FischerKristine is also an avid bow hunter, water fowler, backpacker, hiker, rock climber, solo adventurer and world traveler. Most would say that fishing is her passion, but what really drives her is redefining the boundaries, pushing her own perceived limits and engaging in an ongoing, intimate relationship with fear and adversity in order to gain a better understanding of herself. She is an advocate for living in the moment and trusting in your passions of life. Kristine wants to encourage others to venture out of their comfort zones and into the realms of uncertainty and chaos this world provides. “ It is only when we embrace the struggles, take the risks and experience failure that we truly gain a better understanding of who we are as human beings.” She has chosen the path of chaos, but to her, she can’t fathom living any type of life that wasn’t regarded to as chaotic and adventurous.
